Ricin suspect released

The Mississippi man accused of sending ricin-tainted letters to President Barack Obama and other officials has been released from federal custody, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service said today.

Paul Kevin Curtis, an Elvis impersonator from Corinth, Mississippi, was charged with sending a threat to the president last week after letters containing the deadly toxin triggered a security scare in Washington. But a preliminary hearing that had been scheduled to continue today was canceled and Curtis was released.

Jeff Woodfin, a chief deputy marshal, said Curtis was no longer in federal custody but did not know the circumstances surrounding his release.

He may have been mocking the car with a dem bumper sticker. he had a tweet advocating for the Alabama tea party. So, he was a persecuted tea party guy. He was illegally detained by the commie liberals...

Deep, deep trouble. We're talking allegedly mailing ricin to the President, here.

So they dropped the ricin charges, any word if they're still going to charge him for this?
