Really bad metaphor

This was on the Daily Show last night.

I apologize upfront, but I've been having gallows humor, I guess. Everytime I watch this, I can't stop laughing my ass off.

I had CNN on when some of the final phases were going down. The on-camera talking heads resorted to, "there goes a police car. And there goes another. And there is one over there." I turned it off and missed the best part.
