They loved their Mom, but she left them. They were on their own.

My question was more along the lines that their Mom, whom they may or may not have loved, wasn't available to them. She was either gone or beaten silent.

My son blushes, but he always gets a hug (and a basketball play) when I see him after work. My daughter always gets a hug and some face cleaning.

This is the first case where I've heard of a parent of a terrorist saying that their kid "was framed".

As dysfunctional as this family is, they are the most supportive of any terrorist that I remember.
