I wouldn't have known about this except for a post here yesterday about throwing the Parade in the trash. (Recycle, that is)

George W. Bush's presidency was an unmitigated disaster from start to finish. All votes should have been counted, not thrown away -- that is first. He replaced professionals with unqualified amateurs at FEMA, exacerbating the New Orleans/Katrina disaster exponentially. He installed PNAC Neocon ideologues where rational objective professionals should have been. He brought on board not only Cheney but Rumsfeld and a host of others. He ignored intelligence information that was presented to him, exacerbating the 9-11 disaster exponentially. He left Osama bin Ladin at Tora Bora and turned his attention to invading Iraq, which many of us knew was wrong. He and his cohorts in Congress passed the USA PATRIOT Act, apparently an off-the-shelf document of great detail, without even giving others a chance to read it, much less critique it. Much of Homeland Security was theater. Electronic voting machines were encouraged, nay mandated, that are eminently hackable, with secret source code, proven to change the vote count and results.

Do you want more? I have more. This is all just off the top of my head. God help us all; I don't know if the US will ever recover from his presidency.

I picked "lower than I did before" but really it's "the same" (as before), which was as low as it could get.
