Here's link to the the complaint against the surviving bomb suspect. In latest, Obama says he will be tried in civilian court--and already appeared before a magistrate, who came to the hospital. Charged with using a "weapon of mass destruction." Also, his wounds appear more extensive than previously described. Fresh details on the carjacking: Driver told by older brother right away that he was dealing with the bomber. But younger brother NOT with him at time. Driver forced to go pick him up, and then stuff loaded in trunk.

Interesting... just adds more questions.

(11,366 posts)Not sure the other one was there when the victim was asked to "chauffeur."
Kind of the point of the thread.

(11,464 posts)like everyone else is these days because of guns/bullets(and remember, he was carjacked with the guns/bullets).
And they used him and abused him. It was not his choice, and this ain't no movie set
He is a VICTIM like all the others when there are hateperps in the vicinity.
Hate ruins things. Love creates things.
And, why wasn't the youngerhateperp in the car? Was he using a bathroom at the time?
Was he in the 7-11 getting a 48 ounce big gulp?
Where exactly was he? Because the two hateperps were filmed togheter at the marathan.
Was he hiding evidence? Doing the laundry to hide evidence?
Seems him not being there makes him even guiltier, because it begs to ask, what was he doing? Was he with his girlfriend and lying to her or next to her? And if so, did she know then?
Some had to come into contact. He had a biggggggg mouth. Did they learn something and keep quiet?
The two hateperps were the only ones in on it it appears til they were doing it.
But there were a bunch of days in between, where we have a few unanswered questions.
Those might be accessories after the fact.
And their personna changed a bit from the first event to the last.
And I do myself want to know what they were doing at the 7-11 and if ironically they were getting a sugar rush on a big 48 ounce 780 caloric big gulp(at 130 calories per 8 ounce serving).

(114,904 posts)to be treated with dignity and that we have a moral obligation to treat those in custody with dignity. That's as much about us as a society as anything else. I do not believe people should be called "haterperps" instead of their names. I do not believe that people should be numbers. I don't think calling people monsters and such does anything positive.
Their names are Tamerlan Tsarnaev and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

100% of all guns in the street problems can be instantly solved after a reinterpretation of the 2nd.
Then the circular round robin of the NRA will become meaningless.
First, of course, they should just call the NRA what it is- a terrorist org. and they should freeze their money.
The irony is again-the NRA is using this incident to say guns are needed and immigration should not be reformed. Irony is that this incident and others will direclty lead to the demise of the NRA, unfortuately later rather than now, but it will happen.
And the NRA is sweating bullets (to coin a phrase).

(42,694 posts)laws that take advantage of a less restrictive interpretation. No one seriously contends that the second amendment is a barrier to the enactment of the background check legislation that Congress just punted on; the problem was the lack of political will.

Nor I. However I do realize that placing labels on people allows us to see them as objects rather than human, which then further allows us to treat them without the dignity or even the moral foundations that dignity is grounded on. In short, it allows us to act more like them, with the added bonus of rationalizing it to ourselves.
Goebbels wrote of this very concept early on in his journals 'From the Kaiserhof to the Reich Chancellery'.

Why the hell should anyone know the killer of John Lennon? Who did it for Fame and whenever someone thinks of the peace Lennon, they think of the haterperp in the same breathe.
That is wrong.
That haterperp did nothing to warrant being known til he killed John Lennon.
And the sad thing is, Lennon was a vessel to him. He intended to do it to Johnny Carson but had no access so he couldn't. (Had the tonight show been in NYC it might have been different.)Lennon was secondary, which is the shame of it all. It wasn't political, it was a vessel to live in a famous persons body and work.Actually it was theft. Outright theft.
Copycats abound. If there is no fame/infame then it takes away a prime reason for a copycat to bother. They want their name out there.
BTW, why would anyone read Nazi journals? Yet there is a cult that does that too.
If you want to read something, read the history of Jorg Haider and David Duke.
and apply it to 2013.Historical and political leaders are the exact opposite.
I do admit, if a drone dropped on Hitler and his band of hateperps like the hateperp mentioned above, early on, It would have been a Godsend. IMHO. 20 million or 100 million would have been saved.

(11,366 posts)Stuff just isn't matching up in my head about the younger Tsarnaev.
Seems to be, at most, coerced and in the least, totally unaware until the minute he dropped the ruck sack.
That said, my mind can be changed with more facts, so, I'm with you. Until that time, "haterperps" seems too much like jumping the gun.
