They will fight us physically in the streets when we wake up enough to realize that Representative Democracy is worth fighting for!

This might be an idea. Get the nations police dept.s to endorse or condone candidates based on their gun voting record.

I think it's doing congress unfair justice to simply assume they are in the NRA's pocket. While that may be true, there are a couple other factors A) Republicans are generally non-urban and gun violence is especially a problem in poor urban areas -- as long as they can keep the violence going in urban areas, they will continue to tout how much better they are. Heck they even exports guns to nations they wants to destabilize. It's what they do. and B) Fear. Given the option, it's the nature of politicians to keep people in fear of one another. As long as people are scared of one another the politicians have more control over us. That's not necessarily conscious on their part, just part of the sociopathic nature of most politicians. Blaming it all on the NRA probably is what they want us to do.

The attitude by Republicans every time there is a mass shooting is that it was an exception and isn't going to happen again so why in the hell do we need to change the laws for a one off incident?

They repeat this tactic EVERY TIME.
