More on Alleged Bomber's Throat Injury

Did teen terrorist suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev attempt to shoot himself in the throat as cops closed in?

While a throat injury is keeping the 19-year-old from talking, investigators are speculating that a bullet wound to the back of the neck may have been self-inflicted, sources told CBS News. The wound may have been caused by a gun that was fired through the mouth, the sources said.

Tsarnaev remained sedated and in serious condition Sunday after suffering unspecified injuries, including to the throat, during a police shootout and ensuing manhunt.

1. Of course the cops don't want to offend the NRA by telling what gun they found on the guy.

Odd that we have no mention of a gun found with the kid in the boat. Maybe he swallowed it.

It looked like he got out of the boat on his own from the pictures I have seen on the news. And the photo of the police walking him to the ambulance.

The pic Ruby posted below is the one i saw on the news.

They can ask yes and no questions, he gives the thumbs up, thumbs down?

Then there is also writing. He can use a pen and paper, or a computer?

Speaking is not the only way to communicate.
