The author of a county Republican Party newsletter in Arkansas says that he and other conservatives in the state most likely wont try to kill Republican lawmakers who voted to expand Medicaid under President Barack Obamas health care reform law.
In the April edition of the Republican Party of Benton County Newsletter, Chris Nogy argued that this betrayal deserves a quick implementation of my 2nd amendment rights to remove a threat.
I dont feel the same way about the Democrats as bullet backstops as I do about the Republicans who joined them, Nogy wrote. We need to let those who will come in the future to represent us [know] that we are serious. The 2nd amendment means nothing unless those in power believe you would have no problem simply walking up and shooting them if they got too far out of line and stopped responding as representatives.

(12,287 posts)if a representative no longer does what I want, I should hunt him down and shoot him? Sounds like they really do want a banana republic.

(30,058 posts)in using this issue to win votes by lying to their voters telling them anything to incite them against Obama and any other Democrats. In fact I am sure this was a rally call but they did not really tell their followers this was a task which probably never happen once it has become law and the Supreme Court ruling. What a shame the repubs has said negatively to prevent health care for American citizens. I hope for the future when more portions are implemented we can finally get to affordable health care and we will not be paying twice as much as other countries.
A close friend who is currently working and residing outside the US has international health insurance. He has been advised by this insurance if he has an emergency while in the US to get the emergency care. If he has conditions which are not emergencies to have those procedures taken care of someplace other than the US. Even the international health insurance sees the super high cost of health care in the US. We pay more in prescription cost in the US for the very same drug cost in other countries. This happens because the big pharmacy is successful in getting the assistance from Congress to keep the cost elevated, they should be representing the American public and not be lining their pockets with the assistance of lobbyist.
