Charges Against Bombing Suspect Could Come Sunday
WATERTOWN, Mass.U.S. officials said charges against Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev could be filed as soon as Sunday afternoon, although his injuries made the timing uncertain.

Because of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's condition, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents haven't been able to interrogate him, U.S. officials said Sunday.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be interviewed by a special counterterrorism group created to question high-value detainees, according to an official familiar with the decision.

A federal law-enforcement official familiar with the investigation said Saturday that investigators found five pipe bombs and three grenades after the firefight early Friday morning. The official said investigators were working to determine the origin of the explosives.

Authorities recovered at least one handgun and one long gun. The official said it wasn't clear yet how the men obtained the firearms. Under federal law, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev would be prohibited from purchasing the handgun but could legally buy a shotgun or rifle.
