(12,712 posts)a companion cartoon with the Meat Grinder of Extinction being cranked by a CEO of a Fortune 500 company because they are, without a doubt, taking us to that outcome and the momentum is so great that stopping it is like running out in front of a locomotive in hopes that you can bring it to a halt.
Maybe if all of us jumped on the tracks at one time, our mass would slow it down at least, but that would be rather messy.
That would be hunks of humans, animals and insects being ground into a pink slime called profitburger.
Then there is a the Big Hammer of the Older Male Sibling in space, coming down on the planet while Big Bro dumps an immense box of boots, (don't worry, there is one to stomp every human face) while we go marching to the glory of dystopia in one, endless commercial of doom with beer rations and a handful of chips that are made out of nothing but brain-fooling, chemical flavors and GMO corn mush.
Ah, but somehow, someway, it's got to be worth it. After billions of years of life "evolving" here, it just has to be ++good.
Thanks for the cartoon.

(193 posts)We aren't dogs. We don't have to obey or teach obedience. However that does still leave the issue of money that should go toward a sustainable future going instead to these energy wars. That is also our fault. We need to figure out how to stop it. There are way more of us than there are people wanting this and profiting from it.

(20,899 posts)invited me to lunch after one of my letters to the editor had been published. He told me the reason for the invitation was to see if I were a real person considering that anyone having, much less expressing, a liberal/progressive voice in these hills were seldom seen, much less heard.
