Maybe it's time to take a deep breath.

No need make things more complicated than they are.

For reasons not yet clear, two brothers went on a killing rampage. One was killed, and police asked people to stay where they were so that they would be safe while they hunted down the other, which they managed to do without any more bloodshed. Are Boston cops perfect? Certainly not. Still, job well done. Sometimes things really are that simple.

I would rather have stayed home than take chances when there's a lunatic running around throwing bombs and shooting at cops. A minor inconvenience, if you ask me. Sure, it's irritating to have to go through all this for one person, but life is like that sometimes.

They did this to protect the people of Boston. If there had been another shoot out, and there were several that night, everyone would have been howling about collateral damage if citizens were shot or killed.

IMHO the Boston police did what they did to serve and protect their people. Enough said.
