Two pals of the accused Boston Marathon bombers arrested Saturday around 4pm

Friends of accused Boston bomber are taken into custody in New Bedford, Mass.

The two men, known to neighbors by their first names Azmat and Diaz, were cuffed and hauled out of their New Bedford, Mass. apartment shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday

Two pals of the accused Boston Marathon bombers were pulled from their New Bedford, Mass. home and taken into custody on Saturday.

The two men, known to neighbors by their first names Azmat and Diaz — who share a black BMW SUV adorned with a novelty license plate that reads “Terrorista #1” — were cuffed and hauled out of their Carriage Dr. apartment shortly before 4 p.m.

The apparent arrests occurred about 30-45 minutes after authorities with the FBI, ICE and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security descended on the Hidden Brook Apartment complex.

Vanity plates can be picked up in auto parts stores where front license plates are not required.

State-issued personalized plates often are referred to as 'vanity plates.'

All New England states require 2 plates, front and rear, but Rhode Islanders resist this for some reason. The car might be registered in Rhode Island, which is close to New Bedford.

PA is the nearest legit single plate state.

Two foreign nationals have been arrested on immigration violations in the Massachusetts town where police say the surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect may have once lived.

One may suspect that the FBI is using this power to put the heat on these guys. They obviously don't have to charge them with anything but immigration violations.

Those worried about civil rights should be watching this.

It may be entirely reasonable, or it may not.

It is talking about 'no arrests' on Friday.

But the two people that were arrested since then were arrested Saturday around 4pm, so they might not know about that yet.
I saw the news about the two arrests on an AP link too somewhere but don't remember where now.

It wasn't until Saturday that two people previously questioned were taken into custody--and that may have been by ICE, not a local police agency. Details are still sketchy on what happened there.

To know who's inside of that automobile.

Robert Johnson was there, too.

I pulled out the He Was a Friend of Mine collaboration with Greg Brown. Played the title track.

When I hear his name, I just can't keep from crying. He was a friend of mine.

Hope you are doing well.
