They need to pay their taxes, just like everyone else.

It's time they start working for a living!

...what would happen if WE didn't pay OUR taxes? Where are OUR loopholes? Where are OUR subsidies?

5. The middle class and the working class were provided subsidies...

...so long as the one percent needed American workers who were educated and skilled to man the factories and offices of the corporations.

As long as the corporate hierarchy needed the people as workers and as customers, low-cost education was available for the masses, transportation was relatively inexpensive, health care was affordable, home ownership was subsidized in the form of tax write-offs, pensions were provided, and unions were relatively strong and enjoyed political clout.

Nowadays, thanks to automation and the availability of inexpensive foreign labor, production and new markets are available in what were once considered (economically speaking) "underdeveloped" countries.

Americans are no longer needed by the one percent economic elite. The elite are sending us this message.

"Alas! we're not needed by our masters anymore."

Getting ready to read Pitty the Billionaire by Thomas Franks. Probably need to do it in a padded room with regular doses of sedatives and BP meds. Wish me luck.

7. If we haven't invaded the Cayman Islands

. . . we owe Grenada and Panama big apologies.

Not to mention Iraq an and Afghanistan.

Cayman Islands are doing far more harm to us than any of those.

12. Without a serious change in the tax laws, there will always be places like that

Not just a change in rates, but a complete restructure. Without it, what they are doing is legal tax avoidance, not illegal tax evasion
