Perhaps you missed the part where the cops shot up a bunch of people thinking it was Dorner.

Dorner shot himself, but they still essentially firebombed the cabin.

BTW, the cabin was done by San Bernardino Sheriff.

Unfortunately, they're not exactly known for telling the truth. I'm not shedding tears for Dorner. I just wish the LAPD and SBPD had been more transparent with the actions they took that day.

he didn't say 'dinner' was shot by police, he said they firebombed the cabin ... from the known discussions from police on that day, they did openly discuss using flammable tear gas ...

Firebomb? ... hmmmm there is a line in there somewhere

It wasn't even in the same fucking county! The LAPD did not have jurisdiction at Big Bear.

What happened at Big Bear had nothing -- Nada!! -- to do with LAPD. That would be San Bernardino County Law Enforcement.

Please get your facts right before spewing.

Thanks.

Bomb or shoot first, verify later. Nothing like the class displayed by the BPD. At one point, a Boston man was told to get down to the ground because they thought he was a suspect. Guess what? The BPD was wrong and the innocent person is still alive. That would not have been the case in California.

LAPD, by contrast, just wanted Dorner to shut up.

But I agree the contrast is striking.

the LAPD & Sheriffs Dept. have one of the worst pasts in law enforcement.

what happened with Dorner in Southern Cal. and what happened in Boston , Cambridge and Watertown have little to do with each other.

if this is a thread about who has better cops I imagine most people in L.A. would chose Boston ( even the M.D.C. police )are better because they are integrated into the communities .There is no community in L.A. county -it is 7 suburbs in search of a city.

Yay BUOSTIN ! I miss it everyday

BPD seemed to be outnumbered by FBI, ATF, MA state police, NG, even DEA (DEA? WTF?).

Was BPD at the capture? or were they relegated to traffic control and doughnut/coffee runs?

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, with his rights as an accused, etc.
