(8,646 posts)He said 3 of his friends were seriously injured (he, himself had just gotten out of the hospital that day) and I think 2 of them lost limbs. Some were self-employed and had zero insurance. He was making a plea to the public to please donate for their medical costs - especially since they will now be unable to continue their previous careers b/c of the amputations and so had no means to pay any bills at all, let alone medical bills. It was really heartbreaking.
Single payer - for everyone. Nothing else will do.

I was wondering in my head, "who are they going to sue? WTF?" Then I re-read the title! I think I need more sleep ...or a drink or something.
I do hope those injured in the Texas blast sue the crap not just out of the company, but of anyone who was responsible for allowing this company to flagrantly ignore the rules.
