I apologize. Last night I was a jerk

I started following the crime last night because a DUer posted a link to a local Boston station which was livestreaming. I started watching when they were at MIT and the reporters were in the thick of it. It was fascinating and 4 hours later, I was still glued to the screen. I believed several legitimate sources linking the Brown student, Sunil to the Boston marathon. At 2 in the morning, two names were released and it was all over the internet. When I woke up, neither of those names were in the news. But, it was not before I made an assumption that it was him and authored a post. I've been feeling bad about it all day. I apologize. Not only to DUers, especially the new DUer with 6 posts only, but also for even contributing to anything which could ever hurt anyone including hearsay and gossip. I've never done this before on a public site where u guys don't even know me, but it makes me feel a little better getting it off my chest, and I did it here at DU.. which is a place, although I bitch and moan, I do appreciate and have for the last 9 years.

I'm sorry
