Up to this point, I have been very impressed…
With the restraint and professionalism shown by the law enforcement officials in Mass.
They've given frequent updates to the public to keep everyone informed. In spite of the massive display of force, there hasn't been any trigger happy incidents on the police's part. Their MAIN focus seems to set on PUBLIC SAFETY first and foremost.
Cooperation and communication looks top notch between all agencies involved.
Comparing this to the debacle that was the Dorner manhunt and it's clear that this operation is a great example of how it's supposed to be done.
I hope that I haven't spoken too early, but so far, this effort looks extremely well done.
I commend both law enforcement, first responders, military support and medical personnel and public officials for doing what's right up to this point and hopefully beyond.
(Edit: All of you know that I don't make a habit of heaping praise on cops. However, if they're doing something right, I'm more than willing to admit that I recognize it.)
Bravo.
