Their uncle hasn't seen them or had contact with them for years. That's not odd. I haven't seen some of my uncles and aunts since my grandmother's funeral in the late '90s. I'd bet lots of people are the same as me.

I can't quite understand what "their aunt says, they are frames up" means. So I can't address that.

But, really, I don't see how their family appears to be any more messed up than a lot of other families here in the US. Maybe something will come out later to prove me wrong.
