I'm beginning to wonder if Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is holed up wounded somewhere

or dead.

There have been reports that he may have been wounded

<snip>

The source also said Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was apparently wounded in the firefight, as they've found blood spots in the manhunt. Officials worry he may have broken into a residence and taken captives. "I wouldn't think someone like this would kill himself," the official said.

If that's true, it may be a while before they find him. Of course, they will.

CBS painted a scenerio earlier this afternoon where he had an opportunity to escape via AmTrak before they shut down the trains. There were two trains that departed the area prior. LE eventually stopped the trains and searched them, but the trains had both made a couple stops before they were searched.

Not very likely, but if the guy just got on a train for one stop, he could have escaped the search area.

As I said, not likely; just a possibility that maybe should be covered. I am sure somebody's already thought of that.

Again, per CBS.

was a term some expert used, I had to look it up. Means bleeding to death from wounds. He seemed to believe with all the gun fire, he had to have been wounded.

but this is an untrained 19 year old kid. His mentor - his big brother - is dead.

He is truly alone at this point.

And dropping a bomb off in a crowd under the tutelage of your mentor is one thing but cutting a throat is a whole 'nother country.

That's the one that got out of the car with the suicide vest on. The true believer.

The kid drove over his dead (dying?) brother to get away.

And that seems like panic to me.

Which is odd, since the best I was ever able to get was a 20 second buzz that way.

Didn't you know? Badass action heroes can extract bullets from their own bodies, then cauterize the wounds with red-hot pokers or a flash of gunpowder, with little more than a dramatic scream of pain!

choose occupants who have no family or friends who regularly call, especially in an area where a known terrorist is hanging around. I would have to believe,if I had relatives or friends in the area,on lockdown, and they didn't answer the phone,I would be calling the police and reporting that.

Police understress get a low percentage of shots nearly on target even when their suspects aren't shooting at them

I'd expect that shots on target to fall even lower in the face of returned gunfire.

I'm staying open minded to the whole range from holed up and wounded to actually escaped the cordon.

And was scared and biting his nails Tuesday when his car wasn't done at auto shop, I now think he did this for his worshipped brother and alone he is scared to death.

If hiding he is petrified and or killed himself.
