He wasn't talking to me specifically but to an employee behind his counter. He was going on and on about how a Special Forces guy he knows had told him that even with a 3 or 4 man team of special forces badasses he could not have accomplished the carnage in that movie theater in Colorado. Said the ratio of the number of shots fired to casualties didn't add up, that there had to be some kind of gummint operation in order to kill all those folks, because well the official story is just impossible and he has that on the word of an expert. So I'm listening in there as I don't really have much choice but to hear this stuff or to place my merchandise on the counter and walk out. And he's directing more of this stream of crazy towards me as he goes, since I'm standing there needing to be rung up at the register, and so I'm nodding and smiling vaguely like you do when accosted by a looney. And he goes on to say how even the most hardened gummint trained assassins, so his SF friend tells him, can't kill children without remorse or hesitation, much less one after another after another. So this Lanza kid must have been deep trance brainwashed on drugs in order to program him to kill one little kid after another at point blank range. And of course the real bad guy behind all of these eruptions of horror is the federal government and Obama who are pursuing their agenda --isn't it obvious by now?-- to grab everybody's guns. So he doesn't know, but maybe push is going to have come to shove, because that's a fundamental freedom, and you do that and uh you know we're not living in America anymore and all bets are off.
So I'm pretty sure what I'd hear if I got in my car and rode out there today. Think I'll wait a bit to return there.
