Some field engineer left his breifcase/toolbox outside the side door of the bank across the street from where I worked and someone thought it could be a bomb.

They brought in this armored vehicle with what looked like a tank hatch on top. They put the box in the hatch and a few seconds later there was a dull thud and the show was over.

I wonder if it is because there were less pipe bombs than expected.

I hear the stay inside order was lifted too.
