Is there going to a controlled explosion at the Cambridge home the suspect/s lived in this

afternoon? My understanding is that LE found pipe bombs there.

I got the impression from the CBS live feed in Boston.

1. I saw a bomb squad do it job once

Some field engineer left his breifcase/toolbox outside the side door of the bank across the street from where I worked and someone thought it could be a bomb.

They brought in this armored vehicle with what looked like a tank hatch on top. They put the box in the hatch and a few seconds later there was a dull thud and the show was over.

2. I wonder if this procedure operates differently when a home is filled with pipe bombs.
