Doofus on MSNBC

James Cavanaugh is saying suicide is a 'pillar of Al Quaeda.' He's calling them suicide bombers. So this means these guys may be members of Al Quaeda.

They just want it to be Al Queda so bad. Ramping up the hate and fear.

4. Delayed suicide, I guess

It is still possible that the remaining brother will die in a glorious hail of bullets.

It does seem to stretch the term "suicide bomber" when the suicide part happens 5 days later and isn't actually a suicide. But other than those little details, the guy makes a good point.

12. Right -- then why did they work so hard at fleeing danger if planning to die?

If intent on suicide, they wouldn't have dropped their backpacks and fled before the explosions; they wouldn't have robbed a 7-11 and stolen a car to escape police.

It appears they were more intent on running for the lives than they were dying for their cause... which, by the way, they never let us know what that was.

Tom Ridge was on at the same time. I finally had to turn off Andrea Mitchell. Too tabloid.

If Al Quaeda they also used firearms. Where and how did they acquire them?

5. I'm not going to speculate that they are or aren't part of AQ but

I can't imagine AQ would deny their involvement in this if they were involved. Don't they generally take credit for things they do? I think maybe these guys acted of their own accord and if there is some sort of "cell" activity, I'm guessing the older brother was the ringleader.

the younger one is no longer much of anything (other than a dangerous, frightened kid) without his brother alive to tell him what to be.

It figures Andrea Mitchell would be the one to have him as a featured guest.
