Dunkin' Donuts In Boston Are Still Open During Lockdown

On a lighter note:

Because, let's face it, nothing helps you get through a crisis like a few of these.

but I was already kind of radical for a 15 year old and protested having to give the cops free coffee and donuts!

Back then police were pigs, remember? Nowadays I appreciate them well especially watching this Boston incident play out.

There was one that opened just south of the city but I think it didn't last long.

Dunkins is King here, followed by Honey Dew..... Coffee rules over donuts. You can make great donuts, but if your coffee isn't good ( by good I mean.. new england good) then you don't stand a chance

I finally figured out why after doing some checking. It's totally a regional thing.

Dunkins and other New England type coffee has more acidity then say Starbucks. Also something about bitter vs sour on the taste scale.

Apparently here in New England we prefer a less bitter type of coffee then much of the rest of the country/world. I've tried and most coffee outside of here seems burnt to me.

Japanese green tea, its quite bitter. In the Japanese tea ceremony you are often given a little sweet before drinking it. I don't mind bitter, but I always end up buying Safeway brand coffee.. I mean who can afford a package of something that runs about 15 dollars?

And people are doing just that.... because they want this guy caught... because they want the cops to be able to move around and do their fucking jobs.

then there is 20 blocks of Watertown shut down..... because they are actively searching there.

There are no cops roaming the city pointing guns at people and telling them to get inside.

Unless of course you are in the main search area.

Even then the cops are escorting people in and out if they have an emergency ( like medicine or vital job, etc)

If you throw a donut in any direction from the front door of a DD, you will hit another DD.
