(14,626 posts)Many people know that a person's character and personality is largely established by the time they are very young. The traits that will define that individual throughout his or her life can be clearly identified when he or she is as little as 7 years old. In a new investigation, scientists show that, by the time they start going to school, children already exhibit the personality traits that will remain with them throughout their lives. This was clearly established in a new paper, written by experts at the University of California in Riverside (UCR), LiveScience reports.

If correct, then their strongest influences were formed before they were American kids.

(23,272 posts)while the younger brother's exact arrival date isn't clear yet although the fact that he just received his US citizenship in September 2012 is now proven.
Do you have a link to your other statements? That the one brother has been here since he was 7? Actually a link to the arrival dates for both brothers would be helpful.
That Tamerlin arrived as a 19 year old doesn't mean he "grew up" here at all.
As the older brother coming from a heavily traditional, patriarchal society, he would have had significant culture shock. Furthermore, I'm not certain where, and with who, the younger brother lived with during his formative years. Its possible he actually lived with his (increasingly) radicalized older brother.
Still a lot of questions out there.

No, the Chechen president is not quite the most diplomatic evah...and the younger one is a naturalized US citizen.

Saddam Hussein was not a nice man, BUT
Iraqis watched their friends and relatives be dismembered and slaughtered in Bush 2's invasion in Iraq.
Does anyone NOT expect payback??
Right or wrong, many of the citizens of the USA that come from countries they've bombed and otherwise interfered with(and the list is long) will avenge their family and friends that were maimed or killed by the USA"s war-machine.
I suggest that if the USA is going to accept immigrants or visitors, they do NOT allow it from countries that they have bombed, interfered with or intend to . . .
That would leave out quite a few countries now wouldn't it? . . .
