He seems like a real straight shooter who doesn't suffer fools lightly.

Ugh.

(10,611 posts)how quickly the lynch mob mentality will flare up once the mob figures out the target and is wisely using the media to get his message out.
I like that he called them out as 'unsettled losers'. Interesting contrast to the father defending his 'angel' son.

(2,902 posts)You seem to want to defend their relatives no matter what. Interesting to imagine WHY?

(102,139 posts)So, beyond my concerns that you may be moving toward some very unpleasant and possibly racist attitudes, the fact you can not/will not read and comprehend what I wrote makes it impossible to have a constructive discussion with you.

(102,139 posts)I said nothing about anyone but the uncle, who is not even a suspect at this point. To construe otherwise/to conflate that as support for these two killers-- tells everyone here at DU what YOU are all about and YOUR tactics.
You may just be emotional. You may just be "scared".. but this is a contemptible tactic... This is what we'd expect those on the other side--those other websites--to do.

Two law enforcement officials said they believe there is a Chechen connection to the bombings. In the last several months, Tamerlan Tsarnaev had posted videos to YouTube indicating his interest in radical Muslim ideologies.

(8,646 posts)That they recognized them from the photos online from LAST NIGHT, which contradicts what he said a few minutes before about 'not knowing' until 7 am. Not sure if it was a language issue but it didn't sound like it.
