34. CNN... what a mess.

Late last night around 3am I turned off the TV as CNN was showing a non-informative shot of lit-up police cars. I did a lot of other things, sat on the couch ten hours later, turned on the TV, and CNN was still showing the same shot.

CNN hasn't been a reliable source of information for many years now, but they are at a particularly low ebb this year.

The niche for an actual 24 hour television news service gapes so wide now. But I don't think it will ever be filled because the control of the flow of information is so much more valuable than the truth that almost anyone can be bought and turned into a propaganda and misdirection device.
