We all know these fools will use this event for political reasons. I can see the ads now against Dems and the Obama administration. It sure did not stop them after they cut funding for embassy security. And we have the sequester.

They will probably demand a cut for seniors to pay for the federal part of this event.

W. lost around 4,000 US civilians on 9-11 and he was warned several times about an imminent attack. Flight instructors at flight schools where the 9-11 hijackers trained called the FBI about them but it was ignored.

The FBI has clearly said there was no chatter or warning about the Boston bombings. Not much Obama could have done - more than the continued surveillance of all US citizens and all of our voice and electronic communications for warnings that we all know the NSA is already doing.

I don't see how, without a warning, Obama and the feds could have inserted themselves into the security of the Boston Marathon and prevented these attacks.

but we have GOT to find a way to stop letting them frame all of these discussions. The fact is, these guys came to the country during the Bush era AND were able to carry out this attack despite all of the "homeland security" and Patriot act stuff.
