requirement. I know in Denmark it's about 9 mos. A lot of countries require kids to do conscription for around a year....but could be way off base with this.

he would have been too young to serve in the military in his country. Perhaps his brother Black Hat could have had the military training. He is/was supposedly older.

training, I was thinking the time line does not match. My son is one month younger than white cap, he graduated last year and has been in college....no real time.

They became legal permanent residents in 2007. That means the younger one was 13 then. The older one would have been 19. Don't think there was time for military training unless they traveled abroad later.

But there might still be more to this, a lot of Chechens aren't Islamist, but are pro-Moscow and have a Russian nationalist identity of sorts.

Older one, now dead, identifies as Muslim and very religious without a single American friend. He says he doesn't understand Americans.

I'm sure most immigrants feel that way. But murdering children?

On the flip side, it's a tragedy for these evil young men, too. So much to live for. They could've done so much with their lives. The older one was a boxer & in school for engineering. He was hoping to qualify for the US Olympics in boxing. He had a girlfriend. Handsome, smart, physically fit. The world was his oyster. But he chose evil against the country that took him in and gave his life promise and opportunity.

I guess a seed was planted when he was younger. BTW...he drove a Mercedes????
