To this day I have gotten ZERO apologies/retractions/whatever, and there are no fucks given by anyone involved...My advice to you is to *NOT* rub people's faces in shit because you were right -- It'll be self-defeating and only burn you up inside...

We don't know anything until the facts are in. I thought it would likely be domestic with a 50/50 split between political motivation or just an interest in slaughter. Odds favored a lone nut.

However, none of that is the sort of thing worth banking on. Keep options open. There's still much we don't even know about these guys now, like everything.

To speculate is fine but to make any prediction with a sense of surety is silly.

Had it been Rightwing terrorism it likely would have taken place on Tax Day in the city that was the site of the original Tea Party (since most RWers mistakenly believe the Boston Tea Party was a tax protest).

This had none of that.

It is basic detective work to look for possible suspects with motive.

Maybe not be wise to express certainty without facts, but what's the point of acting so superior about it? Targeting other DUers in this way makes DU suck.

While I understand your nervousness and excitement,
and the impulse to post your joy at breaking your odds defying streak,
it is a little pre-mature to be ejaculating your cries of self-aggrandizement.
We still know very little.

Cris Carter, the all-star Minnesota Wide Receiver in the 90s was noted for something besides catching passes. In an era when spiking the ball and absurd end-zone celebrations were peaking, Cater was noted for his lack of end zone celebrations. When asked about this during a TV interview, Carter responded, "That stuff is for the Rookies. I've done this so often that its not worth a party in the end zone."

While speculation about any and all national and not-so-national tragedies is human nature,
it is best to simply avoid those threads until solid information is available.
