I know CNN was saying that MIT campus officials were telling everyone to stay inside, but that was earlier and at MIT.

Police deployed from Boston to Watertown. Was a double armed robbery at a gas station, and don't know how that's related to MIT; might not be.
7-11 armed tobbery, mit officer, carjaking, mercedes, 2 suspedts, one picked up , audio broke up.

(62,683 posts)6. What I find perplexing is that there are so many law enforcement agencies present.
Although, someone is just mentioning what jump started this was the killing of a police officer -- and we know how they react when one of their own goes down.
So sad.

arrest scene (if there is one?) out of fear of the car having bombs.
