Just sent to the DCCC...

I doubt anyone actually reads these e-mails...just robo-mail. But I had to...

-----

Dear DCCC;

I am not sure any of these return messages actually reach real living, breathing people. But just in case they do, allow me to say that I'm done. I've contributed. I've worked my butt off, both privately and as a Pollie and Reed award-winning ad guy for the Democrats. But I'm done. As long as the Democrats capitulate to every GOP temper tantrum, as long as Harry Reid demonstrates the spine of a jellyfish, I am done. Not a penny more from me. I won't be voting GOP, that's for sure. But you've given me no reason to vote Democratic Party, either.

STAND UP FOR SOMETHING! I'm tired of donating to GOP Lite.

Sincerely -- Lifelong Democrat.

them with a note expressing those sentiments. Eventually someone will read those messages.

In the future, contribute to worthy candidates directly.

I didn't pledge anything. I made a donation online about a month ago. Sorry. All I have to show for it are endless e-mails (fortunately I know how to set up filters, so they all just get dumped into the POLITICAL mailbox) and spam phone calls. But the Democrats just take my money and vote with the GOP. I'm done with this shit.

5. The Senate is part of Congress.

The House is one chamber of Congress. The Senate is another chamber of Congress.

There is the DCCC -- Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

There is the DSCC -- Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

There is the DNC -- Democratic National Campaign

There are lots of other acronyms. Believe me, I know them well. But CONGRESS includes both the House and the Senate.

DSCC gives money to senators and that would include Harry Reid.

The Senate and the House of Representatives are BOTH branches of Congress.

It doesn't mean the DSCC can't be a separate organization, but a "CONGRESSIONAL" campaign committee, by definition, gives money to BOTH The House and The Senate. But what do I know?

collects money for. The DSCC collects money for Senators. I don't disagree they are all members of Congress. It's just that the DCCC isn't going to give a fig about Harry Reid or what you think of him, now Nancy Pelosi is a different story.

I'm sorry...we need new leadership. These two "leaders" are older than my mother, and I'm 54. How about some fresh vision, not career politicians just hanging on for the perks?

13. DCCC gives to Democrats running for House seats.
Thu Apr 18, 2013, 04:34 PM

From their website:

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official campaign arm of the Democrats in the House. The DCCC is the only political committee in the country whose principal mission is to support Democratic House candidates every step of the way.

Also, members of the House of Representatives are called "Congresswoman" or "Congressman", while members of the Senate are not. So while both the House and the Senate make up Congress, there's a lot of Washington culture that defies logic.

11. One minor correction, the DNC = The Democratic National Committee

...and I don't believe the DNC directly finances any campaigns,
though they are VERY influential in directing donations to their Establishment Approved candidates.

If you Work for a Living,
never, EVER donate to the DCCC, the DSCC, or the DNC.
They WILL use your money against your Working Class Interests
by financing supporters of FREE TRADE, HIB In-sourcing, and other Anti-LABOR, Chamber of Commerce APPROVED Blue Dogs.

Contribute DIRECTLY to candidates that will fight for YOUR Jobs and benefits.

The DCCC, the DSCC, the DNC, or ANY national Democratic Party organization
has absolutely NO BUSINESS interfering in Local Democratic Primaries.
THAT subverts the Will of the People,
and has lead to the overthrow of the Party of the Working Class by well financed Corporate interests.
