Schools in West, TX were closed two weeks ago due to fire at the plant

Very interesting,

Another resident, Claudia Wolfe, said the explosion sent a shard of glass flying through her house, missing her head by inches and lodging in drywall near her couch. She and her 10-year-old daughter were covered in glass but otherwise uninjured.

“I thought the house exploded,” Wolfe said.

She knew immediately it was the fertilizer plant, she said, based on where the blast came from.

Two weeks ago, she received a letter explaining her daughter's intermediate school was closed because of a fire at the plant. She wondered whether the fires were related, but she said she's never been concerned about the plant so close by
