What the DNC needs to do right now

and for the next 18 months: it needs to begin a permanent campaign -- NOT for or against an issue, NOT for or against an individual, but against the Republican party as a whole. Something with a simple, punchy tagline. I suggest something like: "Today's Republican party: out of step, out of touch, and no longer listening to America." A campaign so relentless that, by Nov. 2013, voters are no longer thinking about specific candidates but instead are thinking purely in terms of party; a campaign so persuasive that Mother Theresa couldn't get elected if she had an (R) after her name. It needs to be a visceral and vehement, and it needs to start happening now.
