I just read an article in the local newspaper about some local Muslims who are going to set up a free clinic for people without any health care. How can those no good so and so's do that? Damn no good Mooslims. They are supposed to be evil! Why I bet it's some sort of a plot to install mind control into non Muslims or some other evil type of thing.
Btw, before anyone gets too excited, the preceding post is mostly The part about the free clinic is true however. I will see if the paper posted a link on their website. If so, I will post it in here.
Ok on edit, here is a way to read the article. The url is entirely too long for someone with my limited skills to type out so go to www.qctimes.com, click on the news tab, then go to local news. Then scroll about halfway down and you should see the article. ""Muslim Community plans Free Clinic in Bettendorf". I like the thought of a free clinic. It will be helpful to many people in the area. It will likely piss off several health care providers as well, but oh well.

(620 posts)Google 'free clinics run by churches', and a multitude turn up, and include Muslim, Christian, and secular groups.
This is as it should be.

(30,481 posts)Some are very good people, and some are the most evil the world has to offer. You can find this everywhere in life. Just like Christians. So many of them do great work, some are extremely hate filled and do great harm to society. This can be found in atheists and agnostics as well. People can truly be evil, groups can often foment the evil that already resides within an individual.
Health care providers like free clinics.

(12,336 posts)I did say in the post that most of the post was sarcasm. So I am aware that good and bad exists everywhere. But thank you for pointing it out.
