Jenny Sanford is pissed and she is working behind the scenes to smack Mark:

WHY JENNY SANFORD IS PISSED
FORMER FIRST LADY FURIOUS OVER GOVERNOR'S NEW LOVE APPEARING ALONGSIDE HER CHILDREN

Despite her protestations to the contrary, former S.C. First Lady Jenny Sanford is actively stoking the controversy involving her ex-husband’s trespassing allegation – which bodes poorly for former S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford over the coming three weeks as he tries to complete his political comeback.

Jenny Sanford’s lingering animosity toward the man who publicly humiliated her four years ago is nothing new. In fact she reportedly threw a few jabs his way earlier this year at a funeral for a former staffer at the S.C. Governor’s Mansion. That’s right … at a funeral.

This after turning the whole “woman scorned” thing into a cottage industry …

Of course in Jenny Sanford’s defense her husband publicly humiliated her in 2009 – not only by cheating on her but later by declaring that his Latin lover (now fiancee) Maria Belen Chapur was his “soulmate.”

Ouch …

He didn't have the courtesy to introduce them in a less public setting. They have been through a lot.

In addition, Mark keeps breaking the divorce agreement by going into HER house repeatedly even after being warned. He has also broken other parts.

So she can't get over it. He refuses to leave her alone.

She may be scorned but with what he has done, he deserves every bit of hell he gets.

He didn't give a shit about his kids when he was cavorting off to Argentina and then publicly embarrassing himself and his family with his diarrhea of the mouth televised AP press.

It was horrible to see that press conference knowing how devastating it must have been for Jenny and OMG ... their 4 boys, at least one of whom was a teenager at the time while the others, though younger, were still old enough to understand what was going on.

Being cheated on in a long term marriage is a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone, but compounding that hurt with public humiliation (e.g. his soul mate declarations and The State newspaper's exposure if his titillating emails) is a wound as awful as any physical one.

Plus what some don't get on this board is that he literally disappeared. The Lt Gov, the State police, no one know where he was or how to contact him in the event of a state emergency. That is dereliction of duty!

Sanford was, and is, an ass who deserves to be in the dustbin of history. Good for Jenny for upsetting his comeback apple cart.

to return his phone calls. In fact, chances are, her lawyers probably told her NOT to talk to him directly. Regardless, that does NOT give him permission to walk into the house which she is currently occupying without advanced notice and without some sort of pre-arrangement. THAT is called trespassing. The fact that you see no wrongdoing on his part and, instead, are putting all the blame on her is telling.

I'm sure the order has a lot of provisions, including ones involving keeping the kids away from the other. A one-sided court paper, without the reply, is often a bad way to find out what was going on.

My understanding of "stalking" is that it involves the target actually being around.

charged with it.

The complaint filed by Jenny Sanford’s lawyer, Deena Smith McRackan, said that Mark Sanford has “entered into a pattern of entering onto plaintiff’s property. Plaintiff has informed defendant on a number of occasions that this behavior is in violation of the court’s order and has demanded that it not occur again.”

In Febuary of 2011, McRackan sent a letter to Mark Sanford telling him not to trespass on Jenny Sanford’s property. A copy of that letter was also sent to the local police, according to court filings.

HER permission to go into HER home. NO. Believe it or not, I have left my 14 year olds alone. There are no laws against it. 12 years old is considered old enough to be left alone and to babysit. The kid was 14.

He cared so much about his kids he left them on FATHER's Day, but felt he had to be with them on Superbowl? There is no irony or hypocrisy in that?

Again how would you like it when you came home and found your EX in YOUR house (on more than one occassion) without YOUR permission. They are divorced, he doesn't live there anymore.

Poor fucking Mark. Boo fucking hoo. He cheated on her, she divorced him. If he had kept it in his pants, they would still be married and he could go into their house without a problem. But he is now the victim? If markie hadn't violated the divorce agreement to begin with, he wouldn't have been slapped with trespassing. He did ALL of this to himself.

She is not a religious nutjob. Her politics run toward the libertarian strain. Jenny S is not an evangelical who rails about everything.

Mark Sanford has a lot of political enemies in this state. In 2006, he picked out a slate of candidates to run against some of the most Republican senior members. They were people who wouldn't vote his way.Only one won a race. You piss those people off and you have some real, vengeful enemies. One of them could have easily called in a favor and had those divorce papers released.

If he doesn't like the conditions of the divorce settlement, then he should go to court to try to amend them.

It is HER house. He has no right to enter it as he has repeatedly done. If he wants to see his kids, he is allowed to meet them somewhere. I'm not sure how happy they are with him.

If she really wanted to get him, she would have run. She would have stomped him.

Mark Sanford thinks ONLY of himself and does what he wants. Why you see fit to defend him is beyond me. He is an utter jackass on all levels.

Sanfraud said he couldn't let his son watch the superbowl alone? But he had no problem letting him celebrate FATHER's Day alone, while hiking out of the country to bop his mistress. He cares so much about his sons, that he introduces them to his mistress, now fiancee in front of TV cameras.

She is not going out of her way to sabotage him. He is doing that all on his own....by violating the divorce agreement. Over and over again. She has a right to be able to leave her home without him entering it on a whim. Seems to me like he may be stalking her. What woman wouldn't love coming home and finding her ex in her home, without her permission?

Mark is all about Mark. He can't understand why his wife left him after finding out he was screwing another woman. He even had the nerve to publicly ask Jenny if she would be his campaign manager. http://politicalwire.com/archives/2013/04/17/how_jenny_sanford_sabotaged_marks_comeback.html

How Jenny Sanford Sabotaged Mark's Comeback

Jason Zengerle: "Indeed, while Jenny has never come out and publicly opposed Mark's congressional candidacy -- choosing to remain officially neutral -- she's waged a brutally effective passive-aggressive campaign against it. Whether it was revealing to me that Mark had shamelessly asked her to manage his election bid; or telling the Washington Post that, until the night Mark's fiancée showed up onstage at his victory party in April, one of her sons had never met the woman; or just generally making it known that she is furious that he's running, Jenny has done a masterful job of keeping her ex-husband's past (and not-so-past) transgressions in the news. She has seeded the ground with political land mines, stood back, and waited for Mark to step on one."

So sordid, so nasty. Hollywood scripwriters take note--this could make a terrific movie.

it's pretty obvious he was trying to keep the fact that he had been there a secret. It isn't much of a stretch to think that he encouraged his son to keep it a secret from Jenny as well. I would be really pissed if an ex was trying to triangulate my child in this manner, or to encourage him be dishonest with me.

He's pathological. Probably has no useful skills OTHER than being a politician. He's ticked off the old money so no cushy consulting jobs for him. So running for office is all that he has left. Too stinking bad his Republican constituents ONCE AGAIN ignored their so-called values and gave him the chance.

No sympathy here.

That would be tacky which is a mortal sin down here. Mark has hung himself and she shouldn't touch that dirty mess with a 10 foot pole. That is strictly a GOP problem. Le them wallow in it and try to clean it up.

The former Mrs. Sanford has helped make her ex radioactive, exposing him as a talentless, entitled dimwit addicted to being a big shot. Hope Rusch can retire him.
