But his "caving on the 51 vote being sufficient" stopped the CC reciprocity bill (what the NRA really wanted) from going through AND will keep gun control an issue going into 2014.
Yes ... Harry Reid is still on our team.

It was going to pass in the senate, something would also have passed in the house.
Conference would have watered it down ever more but, something would have passed.

And it's not just harry.
Diane Fienstein opposed filibuster reform.... and she um shot herself in the foot. No assualt weapons ban possible because she didn't have guts either.
