I think they repeated what their sources told them. If they consider the sources credible, then they have to go with the information. Maybe they didn't ask the right questions? But they did report what the sources told them.

you know it was more about the need to be first than confirming.

They trusted their sources and got burned.

Someone told me that they think the reporting is trial balloons to see what happens. Maybe that's possible, but it's unusual.

I see him getting upset with them - enough to leave and go to some other network. I don't think he is Fox material. I wouldn't mind him showing up at MSNBC or even one of the traditional TV stations CBS, NBC or ABC.

for a long time. They need him more than he needs them. Especially now. I'd love it if he moved since I can't stand CNN. People trust him for good reason, and that's why CNN needs him. I'm sure they pay him dearly to give their network some legitimacy. And that's why he stays. Can't blame him if it comes with some journalistic integrity for himself - not having to give in to their demands.

"Efforting" is not a word.

I'll grant you that making up words out of thin air is better than making up "news" out of thin air. But really, you should do neither if you want to be taken seriously.

Never mind. Just go with the hologram thing. It's cool.
