They Decided Their Re-Elections Trump Our Safety

From the Facebook page "I love it when I wake up in the morning and Barack Obama is President."

The Senate voted 54-46 on Wednesday afternoon to reject bipartisan legislation to expand background checks to gun shows and Internet sales, falling short of the 60-vote threshold to overcome a filibuster. Please contact your Senators. Let them know what you think of this vote. No more distorting Senate rules. 202-224-3121. -Debra — with Heidi Heitkamp, Mark Begich, Max Baucus and Mark Pryor.

They do not have a multibillion dollar manufacturing industry. The NRA does, that's who they represent and that's why they'll always win. Unless we get money out of politics, fat chance, we're at the mercy of the wealthy.

It's the way it is.
