Let's take a page from the Club for Growth Playbook.. Defeat Baucus.
I realize that targeting even one Democratic Senator for defeat may give the GOP numeric control over legislation that they wield now from a minority position.
While I recognize the problem, I think progressives ought to work to defeat Max Baucus either with someone in a primary or by contributing to his Republican opponent. The man was a disaster on ACA and today he revealed himself as a traitor to our party.
A focused effort to demonstrate that traitors will be read out of the party is the only way to address cowards like Max. Going after more blue dogs makes it more likely that the GOP will win. I don't want that to happen, but somehow, someway we need to get the attention of Congressional Democrats . They need to understand that they betray us at their career peril.
