For those who sadly need to blame the Boston tragedy on America's "karma"

did these people share some collective guilt for America's sins? Really?

"The three people killed in the blasts were a cross-section of Boston, brought together seemingly at random to watch one the city’s proud traditions, the marathon. There was Ms. Lu, one of the thousands of international students drawn to the area’s universities. There was Martin Richard, a vivacious 8-year-old third grader from a well-loved family in Dorchester, a tight-knit community. And there was Krystle Campbell, 29, of Arlington, Mass., a hard-working woman known for her sense of humor who had started working at restaurants as a waitress in high school and now worked as a restaurant manager. Boston prepared to mourn them at a service with President Obama on Thursday."

good news is the suspect is on video:

I'm sure the lesbians are to blame. Oddly enough, I haven't seen a single DUer attribute this to "karma".

because we kill women and children in the Middle East while involved in war there.

THAT is despicable IMHO.

Citizens that this opened their eyes, this per paki journo on the morning. She also was annoyed by comments from some of her country people that they had no sympathy due to the drone campaign.

I bring this to your attention since this has layers, multiple layers.

Suffice to say listening to the BBC conversation was fascinating

and whether you call it karma or god's revenge or just the natural consequence of having a government that does fucked up things, even though you are 8 years old or just happen to be in the country running a race or you are just walking down the street you kinda deserved it because of, you know, America and all that.

collective guilt is a bullshit idea whether religious or not. it is the thinking of religious fundies like al qua-eda or westboro Baptist or totalitarians like hitler or pol pot.
