I remember after Oklahoma city, the immediate talk was about Arabic men, but the composite pictures were obviously white.

all I heard about him, and why I'm guessing it's him, is because they said a guy ran away from the blast and was later talked to at the hospital and he gave them permission to search his apartment.

... when the photographer said that the pics could be an hour apart...

... as runners crossed the finish lines, I'm sure the people changed places, moved around etc... so the speculation that this package was on the ground for over an hour with no one getting suspicious...

... well made me suspicious.

and the authorities are saying the blast came from there. So, the backpack may have belonged to someone standing at the fence and the bomb in the trash can. (Just speculating)

The new photos from Lord and Taylor are supposed to be very high resolution. They have not been released yet.

An arrest made and then no arrest???!!! Dark skinned or black male and now white (because dark skinned and white are so similar)???!!!
Ridiculous. What made the Saudi national "suspcious" acting anyway?? Because he was a Saudi national I'm assuming. Racial profiling at its best. As much as Boston has been described as this wonderful city, it has a long history of racial division and just blatant racism that continues today.

Oh and the guy who was seen running away from the explosion? Umm...thats what a lot of people did. Why is that suspicious? I mean my goodness the nerve of him to run away at heightened speed. Chile...I ain't got time for this tomfoolery from the news media and their speculation. If that happens to be the guy than so be it, but his actions in terms of running away shouldn't automatically make him a suspect.

The pics of the man in the black shirt and shorts is running from the first bomb site. You can see the flags lining the road to the finish line in the picture. The pictures of the bag/package placed on the road-side of the fencing near the garbage can or mailbox is from the second bomb site.

I've been wondering the same thing.

Just speculation, but I would guess the lid of the pressure cooker would be weaker than the rest of the device, so maybe it exploded out the lid mostly?? Not sure.
