Way to go, CNN. Bomb threat called in to Boston Federal Courthouse.

Yup, the same courthouse CNN said the suspect was headed for.

Alarms went off, "Code Red" announced over the loudspeaker, building evacuated.

I'm getting this from the local TV news station, channel 4.

NOT LIKE THEY NEED THESE RESOURCES FOR OTHER STUFF BESIDES BOMB THREATS ISSUED AFTER FALSE REPORTS OR ANYTHING.

Assholes.

In this case I'm sure it's a hoax, but there are nuts out there who problem going vigilante when some "news" outlet falsely accuses someone of a crime.

Just get it right. I don't care who breaks the story, just make sure it's accurate before you pass it on to your bobble heads.

when it's possible neither of you know the truth.

Geez, at least if you are going to complain about a news organizations knee jerk reactions, don't do it by way of your own knee jerk reaction, just let the facts come out.

And what courthouse just wasted a lot of money, because of it? You do understand the difference I hope between a billion dollar corporation and Will Pitt?

It would be rank speculation to assume that the bomb threat at the courthouse was directly related to CNN's reporting, as opposed to reporting by various other news sources, such as AP, that also screwed up mightily by stating that a suspect was in custody and expected to be brought to the Boston courthouse.

I'm not a lawyer, nor do I play on on television, but I assumed murder was a State crime and would be handled by the State of Massachusetts.
