____ The twin brother of President Barack Obamas counterterrorism adviser attended the Boston Marathon and couldnt be located immediately after the two blasts that killed three and wounded more than 100, according to a report Wednesday.
I know you have your hands full, Lisa Monacos mother, Mary Lou, wrote to her daughter after discovering her son, Christoper, was safe. Bloomberg reports Mary Lou Monaco was frantically searching for Christopher.
Glad your days of lining marathon route are over, Lisa Monaco wrote back at 1 a.m., according to Bloomberg. Its awful.
Monaco, who took over the counterterrorism job from new CIA Director John Brennan earlier this year, was raised in Newton, a Boston suburb on the marathon route. She had attended the marathon as a spectator with her her parents and two brothers when a third brother, Peter, ran the race. Her mother said Monaco was also a runner herself.

Who wouldn't be scared if they had a relative in the area?
My sister works right there too and went into work even though it was a holiday because it was quiet and she could watch the race.
So, what angle is this?

(85,975 posts)it's just interesting to ME that this woman, who is closely involved in the investigation isn't operating from a remote position. Not only was a family member at risk, she also has a life history in the area. i think that is at least interesting and perhaps a benefit to have her involved in the case.
I really don't get this place.
