There is only an inch of DIFFERENCE between Democratic and Republican Parties
It seems that others as well as myself lately have been overcome with cynicism over seeming lack of progress and even turning backward since Obamas election in 2008. I was listening to some live Billy Bragg last night, and he addressed this issue. He said there may only be an inch of difference between the two parties, but look how many positive changes are in that inch. We are making progress, ever so slowly, and we all need to push hard and not give up, cynicism is the tool of the right wing - don't let it infect you! 2014 is almost here, cynicism is our mortal enemy.
