The pattern is becoming too, too familiar. So, Boston cops were having a "bomb squad drill" on the same day as... fb.me/1JHrFKCc9

(34,658 posts)The 9/11 truth movement is based on a lot of evidence that doesn't square with the official story in many significant ways.
The Boston bombing doesn't even have an official story yet.

(10,570 posts)There is a reason schools do fire drills when the students are at school. Police use big events for training for the same reason.

(15,185 posts)Democrats usually remove their crazy lunatics in the primary. I can't think of anyone nearly as downright bat-shit crazy on the Democrat side currently serving in the House or the Senate as say Bachmann and Goehmert.
In the GOP, the crazy ones run for president - and actually have a shot at winning the nomination (Santorum held on for a while and even Bachmann was running strong at first) or run for the Senate and get nominated (Angle, O'Donnel, etc) usually going on to defeat in the general election.

I find it's best to ignore people like Cynthia McKinney. They go away if nobody pays them any attention...but if you give them 30 seconds of your attention, it lends credibility and allows others to be sucked into their bullshittery.

This was a horrendous tragedy and you are looking for ways to blame the city of Boston for secretly conspiring to kill its own citizens. That has nothing to do with the question I put forth. Put the foam back in your mouth, please.

(60,567 posts)...and there is no obvious apparent motive?
MrMickeysMom
(20,453 posts)"Covert military or paramilitary operations designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities may be described as being carried out under a false flag or black flag. Operations carried during peace-time by civilian organisation, as well as covert government agencies, may by extension be called false flag operations if they seek to hide the real organisation behind an operation."
So, this doesn't mean it's Boston and it doesn't mean it's "our government" ... In fact, are a lot of covert and paramilitary operations out there who might well pretend to hide their intention with the means to scare the shit out of more Americans.
Of course, if I distrusted a rouge branch of the CIA, which I could, then why wouldn't this be a possibility, regardless of the probability.
The thing that makes me cluck my tongue when reading the reactions to OPs such as this one is how quickly everyone rushes to condemn an opinion they see on Twitter or other social media.
We had better consider lots of things before throwing stones at the comments made from the likes of those like McKinney, regardless of what you may think of her.

(22,143 posts)That seems to be the pertinent question. Others are saying it too and not just Alex Jones. People that were there.
Now, were they saying it was a drill to keep people from panicking as they were searching for a threat they were warned about?
Or was it just a coincidence?
Or were they indeed false flagging?
Or did this not happen at all?
Simply dismissing someone as crazy when there were multiple people saying this, eyewitnesses, is how they always get away with this type of stuff.
Can we at least find out if there were these drills or announcements of them before we dismiss this out of hand?
cali
(114,904 posts)but even if there was, so what? It's crazy and flat out fucked up and vile to imply that this was a false flag operation.
It's just insane drivel.

MrSlayer
(22,143 posts)I saw a news interview yesterday with a college professor or coach or some such that was on site and saying there were announcements about drills and bomb sniffing dogs and the like.
But it seems to have been yanked from the Internet.
I just wanted to know if these announcements happened. No need to get so upset over it.
With all the bullshit the government has done over the years, I don't see how one doesn't ask some questions. They hardly have clean hands.
geek tragedy
(68,868 posts)MrSlayer
(22,143 posts)And I don't think it's unreasonable to ask if anyone else heard these announcements that may or may not have happened.
Why is it so wrong to ask? Again, considering how often the government and its owners have lied to us.
geek tragedy
(68,868 posts)lied.
Where there exists no logical reason to think the government was responsible for planting the devices, yes it's stupid to ask whether they did it.
Just like it would be stupid to ask if it was Charlie Sheen.
