was a selfish old woman who did not care about the welfare of her fellow human being. if something happened to herself or compatriots that's a different story.

She did come out of Soviet Russia - i think that there is a certain amount of overcompensation going on in her work. She also has that ultra logical thing going on that you see in engineers and science majors. That said she certainly wasn't compassionate at all, and her work has been pretty negative - look at former Fed Chair Alan Greenspan.
