not to mention fucking insane. Yeah, I'm sure law enforcement is just panting for "help" from these asswipes.
(TeaParty.org) We the Tea Party stand with the good patriots of Boston. Todays senseless and tragic terrorist attack on the Boston Marathon is an abhorrence to liberty and freedom. The 238th Annual Patriots Day commemoration of the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, which signifies the starting of a revolution, has been marred by a new type of enemy.
This enemy lurks in the shadows, reaching out with a death grip to harm innocent men and women as they go about their everyday lives. The cowardly acts of these terrorists are despicable and antithetical to what America stand for. They are an affront to Judeo-Christian principles, which keep this nation great.
If left unchecked, these terrorist acts will demand armed citizens assist in both law enforcement and peacekeeping for the reestablishment of domestic tranquility.

(53,339 posts)The late J.T. Ready and members of his neo-nazi militia who took it upon themselves to patrol the Arizona-Mexico border...
Wiki has more on Ready and his group:
Ready was a founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps and the U.S. Border Guard, two armed vigilante groups that patrolled the Arizona/Mexico border searching for illegal immigrants.
At the time of his death Ready was under investigation by the FBI, who were looking into a potential domestic terrorism situation involving immigrants found shot to death in the desert.

(6,960 posts)... and all the spectators armed because they could have protected themselves by shooting at the explosion?
The deification of the gun ... which is idolatry and most decidedly not part of "Judeo-Christian principles."

Just a way of saying "We are armed, we will find somebody to shoot if the &*^^*& President doesn't fucking go bomb somebody."

(383 posts)The fact that there is no reporting of who did this.....only a Tea Bagger type could hide and make the investigation this difficult.
But they will be caught...

They sound fringe.
I thought a good chunk of conservatives were OK without guns at large events.

(114,904 posts)first of all, I've been loudly saying that blaming the, er, tea people, is way premature. But this is a horrible piece of crap issued by those foks. It is NOTHING like anything I've heard or seen. Not from the President, not from individuals, not from anyone.
that you think that this disgusting missive- and no, sherlock, it isn't just the Jude-Christian line, though that is bigoted disgusting shit- is just fine tells me plenty.

(6,010 posts)... have zero respect for the Federal Government, only their "Judeo-Christian" (i.e.-"white" values.
And nice final obnoxious touch with, "$10 says I get banned for this post." No one is going to ban you for this post, but it pretty much sums up what you think about the people at this site so why bother even posting here?
Oh, and BTW, welcome to DU.

(101,154 posts)to "assist in both law enforcement and peacekeeping for the reestablishment of domestic tranquility". So, no, it's not "pretty much exactly what everybody else is saying even President Obama". The Tea Party is using this to push its "arm everyone" line.

(5,842 posts)Can the Tea Party point out to anyone which Judeo-Christian principle basically states that it's fine to screw over the poor and disadvantaged so that millionaires can avoid paying a little bit more on their taxes?
And forcing women to have unwanted babies and too often a life of govt dependent poverty.

(16,920 posts)where the bad guys put their bombs. And shoot at the backpacks too while they're at it.
Yet another example of how the right wing talking points have reached dangerously stupid levels. They don't even pretend to fit reality in any way whatsoever.
What the hell good would it have done if every man, woman and child had been armed? Are we supposed to just start picking off people with backpacks? Should real 'patriots' be guarding trash cans?
Good lord these people are sickening, insane and just fucking stupid. Damnit. This country doesn't need their 'help'. We the damned people need them to shut the fuck up and go away.
muriel_volestrangler
(101,154 posts)Whatever the outcome of that is, at least the tackler did something non-lethal. The Tea Party does seem to think that some people being shot would have helped yesterday.
