Americans are an interesting lot

If the perp/perps are domestic, we're fine with them being prosecuted and punished under our justice system. If foreign, we won't be satisfied until we grease the country of origin. Funny, I don't remember anyone supporting an air strike on Tim McVeigh's hometown of Pendleton NY.

...government is justified.

If it's just people who happen to be foreigners, then no attack on another country is justified.

At least that's what happened in 2003. Let's hope we "won't get fooled again," in the immortal words of Dubya.

If it turns out it is a Right Wing group that bombed Boston this is our chance to call out Right Wingers on their hypocrisy and demand a war on domestic terror, profiling of anti-government Right Wingers and general discrimination based on a person's stance on government, taxes, abortion, etc.
