So what did the ATF director say about the horrific Boston bombings?

Oh that's right, we don't have an ATF director and haven't had one for years because of republican obstruction.

One of the many tasks of the ATF is to investigate and prevent the unlawful use of explosives.

Republican obstruction is now literally killing Americans.

Fuckers.

I think there are several agencies the Republicans are filibustering on. It's high time to bring it to a vote and call them on it. Call the vote even if the Republicans vote it down. Remind the public why we have no ATF director. Having a seasoned professional in charge of an important agency is important at times like these.

A FB friend who does Seatlh and rescue with her dogs, so is connected in the K9 word, posted that the sequester cuts had hit the K9 bomb detection team really hard, cutting back on their work. Not a good cut, to say the least.

of dynamite and other high explosive to add indestructable tiny plastic indentifiers so if dynemaite(say) were used in an attack it would be easy to determine where the dynamite was purchased.
The NRA opposed this common sense measure.

Saying he appointed a corporatist shill, for example there was one who worked for Monsanto. So in those cases, maybe he just wants to get the office filled.

Can only imagine what these hypocrites would say if a Democratic Congress did that to a Republican President.
