I was just thinking this morning that the Republicans haven't been in a panic

over Terror Alerts for at least 5 years. Remember the color codes and warnings that would pop up every couple months or so? We'd have headlines about Bush protecting America. As I recall, Bush was reelected on keeping our country safe. Hmmmmm!

Why haven't the Republicans (and, Democrats) complimented Obama on keeping the United States safe from terror attacks?

Remember how the Republicans used to be the only ones who were truly patriotic, believed in God and supported our troops? Where'd that go? I can't recall the last time I heard them tooting that they were more patriotic than the "Democrat" Party or were behind our troops. Maybe we don't have enough in combat zones?

I guess Bush just brought out the best in them.

Revved up the Sheeple. If I remember correctly, those were some of Cheney's proudest hours.

I have to be honest, they concerned me the first time or two, but then they became predictable.

I'm from the "dive under your school desk" generation. I think those drills were legit, but I wonder about most everything, anymore.
